Charlie Luh, Principal

Mr. Luh has passed the Series 4, 7, 8, 24, and 63. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland) and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with Distinction.

Mr. Luh: "While at Hopkins, I participated in a national investment challenge and placed 25th trading index options. I also owned in partnership a standardbred race horse, which provided me great joy when it won, but eventually lost me some money. One of my partners would go on to create Bigfoot.com, an up and coming internet company. After I graduated, I worked in the securities industry for a while before heading off to law school. Mr. Luh: "My foray into the Internet actually began when I was still an undergrad. Back then, web browers were still in their infancy. We used a program called "lynx" or "mosaic" to browse web sites, which were primarily text-based. I keep the graphics on this page limited because of the time associated with downloading and my belief that you've come seeking information."

Mr. Luh: "In November of 1995, I wrote a piece detailing the available securities licenses for the misc.invest FAQ and began to receive E-mails about working in the industry, which eventually led to the creation of this web page."

Mr. Luh: "I receive E-mails on a regular basis, which has exposed me to a wide-array of opportunities. For example, I've provided consulting services regarding the purchase of broker/dealers, the design of in-house training material, and web page creation. My passion is to help arrange financing for start-up companies. I've also been tapped to create a law school web site and AppointmentBot, an email reminder system web site. Development of these two sites is progressing smoothly.

Diane Lee, Principal

Ms. Lee holds a B.A. in Communications (Cum Laude) from the University of California, San Diego and is also a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law.
